Red Sky at night – Ballast Bank
A long exposure taken on the Ballast Bank in Troon. The bank as it is known is a man made structure of earth and shingle ballasts which stretches from one end of Troon to the harbour. Created as a sea defence primarily it is now very popular with dog walkers and the like due to its impressive panoramic views.
